Deborah closes Deborah Descends

Deborah has decided to close down Deborah Descends, a blog with a lot of insightful reflections on sex, gender and transgender. I am really sad to see it go.

In 2012 Deborah closed down her crossdreamer journal: Mirror Sister. The existing content is still available, though.

It contains a lot of interesting reflections on sex, gender and sexual orientation from a transgender perspective.

I truly appreciate Joanna's respect for the complexity of gender identity creation. She writes:

"In truth the combination of family history, sexual preference and gender identity is a deeply complex cocktail that would require in-depth analysis to unravel and by the time an individual reaches a therapist with an expressed desire for transition the only way towards contentment is to follow through."

Married to a Crossdreamer

"Susanne", over at My Husband is an Autogynephiliac, has made an update to her blog about her and "William", and their attempts at integrating crossdreaming into married life.

She writes:

"William and I are doing just fine.  We still dress, role-play, etc - at least whenever we can find the time in our crazy world of four kids, house, work and life.  William is NOT out of the closet with anybody but me - which is exactly how he says that he wants it."
