In December Crossdream Life, the online forum for crossdreamers and other gender variant people, had to close down the sign-up process due to a spam attack.
The problem has now been fixed and new members are welcome to register over at
crossdreamlife.com.
Spammers like these generate a large number of false members who then automatically post a large number of false posts and message promoting junk. They believe this will help them rank better in the search engines. It does not, actually. Google have seen through this kind of trickery a long time ago, but some never seem to learn, and the rest of us have to pay the price.
Note that Crossdream Life has added a new subforum for Life-affirming Crossdreaming. For good reasons, we have a tendency of focusing on the personal and social problem gender variance causes us, and often forget that being outside the box may cause a lot of joy and personal growth.
